Small, positive actions, repeated daily

– One Minute with Ozzy

We’re often urged to ‘take massive action’ – and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. But some things we want in life take time and small, regular, repeated actions or decisions.

I know if I wish to shed 20 lbs, short of surgery, which, I suppose would class as taking massive action (certainly drastic action!), I can’t lose that weight overnight.

But I can lose it by taking small, positive actions repeated daily – taking exercise, eating well, drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep every day.

Beware, though, of taking small, negative actions, repeated daily. Just as making small, positive changes to what and how much I eat and drink, and to the amount of exercise I take, small, negative actions repeated daily are every bit as powerful but will take you in the wrong direction.
